Svetlana, General Manager
Svetlana is an English teacher and a political activist. She is the General Manager of our organization.
She firmly believes in political activism and emphasizes the importance of personal engagement if one seeks the change.
Dushitza, Political Organizer
Dushitza is an English teacher but has been politically active for many years as a volunteer in many Democratic campaigns. She first got interested in politics through researching social media impact on political campaigns and their outcomes. Her goal is to raise awareness about voting among youth.
Maia, Event Coordinator
Maia is a Music teacher. She got interested in politics through reading news and discussing it on social
media. She discovered that our organization provides a suitable environment where her creative side
accompanies her wish for political activism.
Alex, Legal Department
Alex is a Law student. He got interested in politics through his college friends and he is a true asset to
our organization with his legal knowledge. He is interested in programming, drawing and listening to music.
Dimitri, IT Specialist
Dimitri is our Digital Communication Manager. He decided to take part in this project because he is
interested in putting his knowledge into something important for a wider community. He is also very
keen on debating and public speaking.
Elizabeth, Creative Director
Elizabeth is an Architecture graduate student and a political activist who is an invaluable member of the
organization with her artistic flare to some of the most mundane campaign jobs. Her critical insights
keep the team on track.
Mina, Research Associate
Mina is an Arts student. She became a member of our team because she wanted to improve her public
speech skills but soon found politics interesting enough to become more engaged in the current
campaign. Her interests are literature and painting.
Lily, Research Associate
Lily is an Economics undergraduate student who finds politics is underappreciated among her fellow
students and thinks everybody should be a part of the political campaign, at least once in their life. Her
interests are singing, playing music and sports.
Natalia, Junior Strategist
Natalia is An Art student who found interest in politics through her parents. She got involved in our
team because she thought that we provide the best way to gain knowledge about politics. Her interests
are painting, learning languages and travelling.
Peter, Over Outreach Organizer/Team Photographer
Peter is an engineer. He took part in our organization through his old high school friends who were a
part of it a couple years prior.
Sarah, Communication Director
Sara studies languages, Spanish, to be more precise. She got interested in our organization because one
of her former teachers had joined our team. Her interests are politics and travelling.
Tiana, Creative Associate
Tiana studies Art history. She joined the organization in order to improve her knowledge of politics. She
is also a young music prodigy. Her interests are drawing, painting, singing and playing music.
Mina, Senior Policy Researcher
Mina is a Psychology student. She joined the organization to study behavioral patterns in politicians but
discovered politics to be addictive.
Emily, student
Emily is A History undergraduate. She became a member of our team because she wanted to improve
her communication skills but we also gained indispensable help with her insights of a historian. She took interest in politics because her friends were studying political science. Her interests are reading and philosophy.
Christine, Chief Executive
Christine is a Political Science post graduate student who has been in the organization for the longest time and whose management skills keep us together. Her interests are debating, drawing and singing.
John, Senior Policy Researcher
John is an IT analyst who is volunteering in our organization lending his skills to the good cause. He finds raising awareness about voting among young first- time voters crucial in developing a politically mature nation.

We are the democratic youth wing named AYDE (short for Association of Young Democratic Educators) whose main purpose is to spread awareness about the Democratic Party among young people and educate them on the basis of current issues in Michigan and why it is important to vote.
